Delhi is the capital city of India and presents an exotic bouquet of shopping, dining, and sightseeing choices for any traveler interested in exotic experiences. For many Western travelers, the iconic symbol of the Indian experience is the Taj Mahal located in the city of Agra, which is 203 km or approximately 150 miles from Delhi. Delhi is one of the largest cities in India. Inside Delhi is New Delhi, the political capital of India and home to the government district and parliament buildings. Delhi is just not a city but it is a book-- a book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through the history books.

Delhi is quite cosmopolitan. Delhi is on the move, and some believe the mobilization of capital and resources is responsible for quite positive transformation. Pollution levels are supposedly dropping, and government officials seem to introduce new modernization schemes every week.

Delhi is the hub of many national roads and railways, as well as being the major air terminal of northern India, with Indira Gandhi International Airport handling most international flights, while Palam Airport handles mainly domestic flights.

Delhi is much more open, there is no such thing as a Delhiite, as most of the people here come from outside. Thus Delhi becomes a melting pot with space for everyone”. Delhi is most famous for its tourism in all over world but nowadays there is nothing to develop for Delhi tourism. Government is not taking right steps to develop the metropolitan city for tourists. Delhi is actually two cities. Old Delhi was the resplendent seat of power for the Mogul emperors who ruled after the 16th century, leaving such relics as the huge and ornate Red Fort and Jama Masjid Mosque.

Delhi is the best tourist place in india. For many travelers, the first experiences in Delhi set the tone for their judgment of the city. Delhi is a diff story. I love the city like no other place. Delhi is well known for its ancient culture, Political value all over the world, as it is Indian political hub, which is knows as biggest Democracy in the world. Beside that the culture, social life, and people here, their lifestyles, and traditions, climate everything just perfectly balance It to make it an ultimate tourist Destination for visitors around the world.

Delhi is a historic city of India, as its history starts with the creation of Indraprastha by the Pandavas. It saw many rulers and dynasties rise and fall and dethroned, Anangpal Tomar created this city and then the Chauhan Rajput captured Delhi from Tomar’s. Delhi is everything and nothing. It's a DIY city and yet it is out there slowly killing us all. Delhi is a major travel gate way. It is one of the India's busiest, entrance points for overseas airlines, the hub of north Indian travel network and a stop on the overland route across Asia.

Delhi is your gateway to North India and you'll definitely have to base yourself here if you plan to visit any place in North India (like Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi Ladakh etc, which are all extremely well-connected to Delhi). To be frank with you, Delhi has a high and ever-increasing crime-rate. Delhi is divided into two parts. The old Delhi or Delhi was one of the capitals of Muslim India between the 12th and 19th centuries.

Delhi is not only the largest commercial centre in northern India, but also the largest centre of small industries. These are manufacturing a wide variety of items like television, tape recorders, light engineering machines and automobile parts, sports goods, bicycles and PVC goods including footwear textiles, fertilizers, medicines, hosiery, leather goods, software, etc. Delhi’s new millennium industrial policy, emphasizes setting up of high tech and sophisticated industries in electronics, telecommunications, software industries, IT enabling services, etc.

Delhi is rich in history, culture, architecture, human diversity, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and development. Being the capital city, Delhi is a very busy city. Delhi is one of the oldest cities in the world to have been continuously inhabited in the many centuries that is has been existing. It was previously the site of the capitals of certain ancient Indian empires in the past. Delhi is one of the largest markets in the country despite its being smaller in population than Mumbai. This is primarily because the per capita income in Delhi is much higher than in other cities. Delhi is one of those metropolises and now a megapolis.
